Dr Nigel Wilson has held pro bono editorial appointments on two leading international technology law journals - Computer Law and Security Review and the Digital Forensics, Security and Law Journal.
He has been a law reform adviser to the Australian and South Australian governments regarding the impact of the Digital Age and its technological, privacy, cybersecurity, risk management and dispute resolution implications.
He has held directorships on corporate boards and been a pro bono Director of Adult Learning Australia and its charity, Learning Changes Lives, Australia’s peak voice for adult learning and community education.
In 2024 he was a finalist in the inaugural Australian AI Awards in three categories – AI Leader of the Year - SME, AI Consultant of the Year - SME and AI Academic/ Researcher of the Year.
